I start HS this year. Im scared to death.... because im afraid that ill make a fool of myself..... and be the class reject. Around my friends im loud.... hyper..... and sure of myself. I get around older people and i freeze up and am the total opposite. I dont want to be like this... because i hear High School is the best experence. I dont want to go thru it afraid of EVERYTHING. Any help?

Dont worry dear, Take the following clues
1.Do not give people more importance than their worth.
2. You learn by mistakes
3.If they laugh at your action, yoo too do the same. You be your critic. You do say to yourself that you should do better next time, when low on marks. Follow the same for other acts too, unless they are offensive and punishble under law(where you should cry instead of a laugh)
Be what you are. Do not pretend at class.Wait and see. You will be absorbed over there.
You have a lot to learn in and out the books, and this part of your life is critical. what you do now decides what you are later. Also ensure to enjoy. Cheer up you can do it. (turning philosophical eh? but philosophy does help many a time). The world is with you if you are right and do present yourself properly. Wishing you good luck.

My little cousin just started HS not too long ago, unfortunately she started off with a bad experience. But you can't let other people dictate your worth. She has moved on past the drama, and if you do have any, you will to. I moved to a new school the summer before my freshman year and at the beginning nobody liked me. Have way through the year I had alot of friends, some I'm still friends with. Just remember, NO ONE IS BETTER THAN YOU, AND YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN ANYONE. It's true. If you do have any drama, you and everyone else will get over it, believe me there is more to life than being cool!

Don't be scared.
Everyone had to start H.S. and be the new kid of the block, just that fact alone should give you some kind of peace of mind.
They were once like you, new and unsure.
Do what I did:
Pretend that your not the scared you, who's concerned about what ppl say and think, and start acting like your free spirited, bold and great to be around, speak to everyone who makes eye contact, with a smooth wink and nod.
Trick them and yourself, into thinking you got it going on.
And guess what.
Eventually you will!!!

gurl there isnt nuttin 2 be afraid over u should fit in high school is so bad if u act normal. just make sure that u make alot of friends cuz the more friends u have the better it is. n the older kids can b intimidating but they dont really do anything wrong they just act that way cuz they want u 2b.

i have the same problem espeacialy if there prettier than me and im going to HS to this year so we got the same problem i find it easiest to just start a convo by askin a simple ? like sooo what are your hobbies then we start a convo and become friends hope this helps dont worry we will get through it
