here's the deal, ran into an female friend I had not seen in a couple of years. She is getting a divorce and talk to me for a while about what she is doing now. She opened a new business and invited me to come by and see it. The next week, I sent her some flowers to congratulate her on her new endeavor. The next week I was in the area and dropped in to check it out. She acted pleased to see me and gave me the grand tour. We ended up talking for about 20 minutes and as I left, I just looked in her eyes and we kissed (and not a "friendship kiss"). She said I could take her to lunch sometime. So the next week, I leave her a mssg on her cell phone (she is notorious for not answering the phone) and told her to call me about lunch. When I checked my email, she had tried to instant mssg me. I wrote back that I could not instant mssg from work because they block it. Well, she has never emailed me back or called since. And I haven't tried her again, I don't want to seem desperate. What gives?

Well does she have you phone number and has she ever call you on her own? Don't call her I have the same situation this guy found me after a couple of years and calls me and everything I think he likes me but I am not interested I like talking to him and we have a great time when he reaches me because I never answer my cell either but I am really not interested no matter how much he tries I am just not interested and the more he tries the more uninterested I get.

You give and go and try to contact her again, you don't know if she is ill had a family emergency or whatever. If you try and she seem not interested, I feel you would at least know to move on. But when you don't call her, your sitting and wondering why she didn't call when all you have to do is call her and put your mind to rest.
She can either act glad to hear from you or tell you she's not interested. Either way, you will be able to have a peaceful mind once you know your chances.

You said she never answers the phone...maybe she's the same with IM. If you really want to see her and persue something then contact her again. Or stop in her new business and suprise her and then take her to lunch.

Hmmm?? You may need to give her a call and stop relying on electronic communication. Or perhaps even stop by like you did last time. It does seem like something is there, so acknowledge it and see where things head!

Just call her again. She may have been insulted, or she thinks that she already tried to talk and now it's your turn. Call her back.
