I was with girlfriends at the beach and we had been drinking. I got caught in an under-tow and this guy jumped in and saved me. We've been together ever since.
Married 30 years this past Sunday.

We met on line in the old lycos chat rooms about 11 years ago. I was at College in Notre Dame(So.Bend),IN and he was in Australia. We hit it off instantly, chatted every day for a while, then started calling each other. We fell totally in love and never even knew what the other one looked like. It was funny as both of us assumed the other was typical blonde haired and blue eyed. He came to meet me and I just wore a t shirt to the airport with is name on it. We embraced and kissed before ever uttering a word, then we both giggled because we are both Chinese! lol He stayed a week, then returned home long enough to get his things in order. He moved back and we were married shortly after and have been happily together now for 10 years and have 2 great kids. :)

HA! HA! HA! I am 24 years old, and in the past, I've spend a lot of my time looking for the right one but, as I got older, I realized that I am just getting older day by day and busy working, taking care of business, and do the things I want to do, I just don't have the time to be searching for something that's with uncertainty. So, what I do is this, not necessaryly in this order but, I work hard, party hard, spend as much tiem as I can with family and wait, if the comes long and we get hooked or not, that is fine, I will not go look for it.

One of my friends really liked this guy, and I never thought twice about him. Then the next year, we had a class together and we sat near each other and started talking a lot. Then a bunch of my friends starting liking him and knew that we were good friends and wanted me to talk to him for all of them. Well we became best friends and always hung out, by then all my friends started backing off because they thought there was something between us and I was like: "No, we are really good friends." But one thing lead to another and now we are together. We are so much in love and are very committed to one another. We have been together for over a year and we have been talking about marriage.

Totally Random. We were both in a chat room and happened to IM each other. We started talking, I added him to my friend list. We became friends, and just talked for a few months while we were both dating people who lived in our cities (he lived 2 1/2 hrs away). Then one day we decided to meet. He drove out to my house, we had a nice time. He came back a week later. Then we started dating, eventually he relocated, and we are engaged!

I was in a yahoo chatroom looking to chat with people.He im me and we started chatting.one thing lead to another.
We got in a huge fight online, He said I need to go. I thought he was just going to hang out with his friends because that what he does on Saturday night, I was in the shower and My Dad was like someone here to see you. I thought it was my sister playing a joke on me so I came out in pjs no under pants and a shirt no bra. and He gave me plastic flowers because I hate real flowers and He knew that. We went out that night and it was the sweetest thing a guy has ever done for me.Most people would say it creepy some guy online coming unannonce to your house,but it one thing I will never forget. And I still remember what he said "this is the only way I could prove I really like you" because I didn't believe he like me because of all my ex's.

I met my husband back in 2001. We had class together. We were both in a relationship. He kept trying to talk to me, but he wasn't at all my type so I kept blowing him off. One day I was a little upset and we just started takling. We became best friends. We were always together. Everyone said we should go out and stuff. He had told me once that he had fallen for me, but I just wanted to stay friends. Both of our relationships were bad, we were there for one another, then one day he was just like.."If I break up with my girl will you go out with me?" I knew he was serious but took it as a joke and said yeah. A few days later he was like "I broke up with my girl." We hung out that weekend then started going out. He went to Marine Corp boot camp 4 months later. I waited, he came back and purposed to me. We went through alot for 2 years. Having a long distance relationship wasn't easy. However, we're together now and have a baby. I believe that we could make it through anything...our love is that strong.!!! (awww)

On the telephone. I was at work and he called off an ad for our business. His name was so long and strange that I laughed and told him I could never marry him with a name like that. He kept calling and 3 years later we got married.

My brother worked with my husband for about 3 years before I met him. The whole time they worked together, my brother would come home and tell me about "this guy I work with would be so perfect for you, Dee, but he has this stupid girlfriend!" This went on for about 3 years. When the guy finally broke up with his girlfriend, I would be dating someone. Well, we finally met after about 3 years of my brother telling me about this guy at his job who was oh so perfect for me. Me and "that guy" have been together from the first moment we met. It was love at first sight. We have been married for 6 years now. Well, what do ya know, my little brother was finally right about something!

I was taking a smoke break from work. he was working on the building next door.it was like a diet pepsi comercial or whatever, i watched those arms bulge, i had to ask him out.
2 months later and still going strong
