He knew God was real, and knew for a fact the consequence of sin. How much easier was it for him to be good than it is for the rest of us?

Jesus is God. Even when he was on earth, he was a diety. God cannot sin, so therefore, Jesus cannot sin. To answer your question, yes it was a whole lot easier for him.

I agree with Cindy. I think that it must have been terrible for him because he had no experience with temptation before. And he wanted to experience temptation to understand human experience. We know the devil tempted him in the wilderness but I'm certain there were many other experiences as well. We also know that while he was hanging on the cross he had a moment of doubt about what he was getting ready to go through. He had fear and he cried out to God. I'll bet you know the consequence of sin too! LOL That doesn't stop us, does it?

The bible states that is wasnt'. Although Jesus was without sin to start with, meaning he didn't have to deal with original sin.

But he came here as a fleshly being. Meaning he had to deal with temptations of the flesh. Flesh feels and knows pain, lonliness, lust, etc.

He had to deal with these things in the same way that we are given to deal with them.

I know God is real and that he is my creator. Because I also know that the devil and his demons are not omnipresent (meaning they cannot be everywhere all the time) I know that the devil himself worked on Jesus and the bible describes him as quite cunning and convincing, including knowing and using the scriptures and twisting them to meet his own needs.

So, yes Jesus still had to work hard at avoiding temptation of the flesh and the temptations and workings of the devil himself. Not a boat I would have "volunteered" to be in.

HE was crucified by taking on our sins, so we could get to heaven, by God's Grace. That was extremely difficult so it was not easier but much more difficult. He was both man and God
