I know that if asthma has been controlled before turning fourteen, then the army will let u in. Theres nothing on the AF webstie though.

Yes you can join the Air force with a history of asthma.

Go to a doctor and get a recommendation stating that you have had no asthma attacks / problems with asthma since "X" amount of time. Ensure that you are having no problems whatsoever with your asthma.

It is possible, but if you have full blown asthma and its not under control then no you can't join the Air Force.

No problem....Just don´t say anything about that....I used to have similar problems with the lungs when I was a kid....Not anymore....At Physical Examination I did not mention a word to the doctor....they accepted me......
But if you still have Asthma I would think it over.... Remember this scene in "Black Hawk Down"?
If you think you can do it, go for it! The doc won´t notice a thing if you keep your mouth shut.

You can not be pilot or navigator with history of asthma after age 12.

any history of asthma past age 12 is a permanent disqualification with no chance at a waiver..for ALL branches.

You can't join any armed forces with asthma.

Yes you can get a waiver, but you have to be able to spell Airforce first
