It depends on your regimen..and how you maintain your hair...the most important thing about getting hair past the shoulders...is keeping it in protective styles (buns, braids, updo's, you name it...as long as your hair doesn't touch your clothing)..until is passes your shoulders.....Trims should be twice a year....I'm assuming your hair is relaxed since it wont go past your shoulders....start stretching your relaxers also by keeping your hair in a protective style...if you go 4 weeks...start going 6 weeks or more..etc..etc...Now oils..help growth also...rosemary, peppermint, lavendar, and such..stimulate hair....if you really want to do this..and are ready to take on this challenge...check out this website...there are a ton of girls..that list what they do and the results that they get....believe me....the answer is there...I'm using it right now myself.....

i do no longer think of it is feasible to make your hair advance swifter, yet you may make it advance in good shape. I even have long hair, and at a definite factor, it starts getting risky. of direction, trims are mandatory to maintain your hair healthy, yet be sure which you're no longer trimming your hair greater beneficial than it grows. you could continually ask your stylist to easily trim the main minimum quantity once you pass in. For me, it rather is each and every so often in basic terms 0.5 an inch. I additionally not often type my hair utilising a blow dryer or warmth. The greater you utilize the blow dryer and warmth with your hair, the greater often you may get trims, and the slower it rather is going to take to your hair to advance. I additionally wash my hair interior the early night so it has time to dry at night earlier I could be everywhere. I wash my hair another day, via fact washing too often will dry hair out. For the days i do no longer wash my hair, I in basic terms clip it up interior the bathe. some new issues that i'm attempting: Combing my moist hair with a p.c.. rather of a broom via fact hair is greater fragile while it rather is moist and the comb breaks hair much less complicated. sturdy luck!

That's just a wise tell. I live in Houston and it is always raining, and my hair still grows. One factor is genetics, and no one can alter that. The second thing is how you treat your hair. If you are putting alot of chemicals in it ( perms and color), you are damaging you hair. Try using Aphogee packs ($.99 at beauty supply) once a month to condition your hair. massage your scalp at night with a NATURAL oil (olive oil, carrot oil, etc.). Don't use heavy greases and things because it clogs your pores and your hair can't grow.
Hope this helps some, and good luck.

You hair will grow when it is ready to. Weather has nothing to do with it. Your hair should have grown in 8 years. Do you have a health problem, or did you have a chemical treatment on it.
