jogging or walking on a treadmill are load bearing exercises which are more advantageous if you wish to loose weight. If you are fit you need to vary exercise routines to keep improving fitness levels so a mixture of the both would be best. doing one type of exercise regularly although benifical lets your body get into a groove were you find it harder to make improvements. Therefore the answer in the long run is a good mixture of the both but over a short period it would be the treadmill.

Treadmill. I just saw a study (wish I would have saved the page) that said treadmill is better. Stationary bike is actually on the low end of exercise machines.

The treadmill is.
You can vary the inclination of the treadmill and increase the intensity of the workout.

You can get a good cardio workout on either. However, a bike will be easier on your knees.

Honestly, cross-training on all three is great. I recommend swimming, running and biking coupled with weight lifting and a high protein low carb diet.
