This sounds like you are conflicted? Or just tired of the disrespectful arguing on both sides? We all work, unless we can't, and we should treat each other with respect. You're right. But there are issues. California has been a recognized state in the US for over 150 years. All of a sudden there are people declaring war on us and claiming we stole land. It isn't 1848. It is time to try to respect the laws and borders of the US and its' citizens. Show them the same compassion the majority of US citizens have shown the immigrants.

Your question is confusing, just who's side are you on ?
I personally am on the side of legality and following the laws of the US and its legal boundaries, not the ones people would like to think are there but the real ones that separate the US from Mexico.I know Hispanics do not wish to become clones of Americans but by the same token we do not wish to have to become your clones either, just as you do not want English pushed on you ,we do not want your languages push on us.
Tell me what is your reasoning that because its illegal to enter the US without proper legal documentation, that the laws don't apply to you? I mean really how do you rationalize that behavior ? I have read a lot of questions and answers on here ,read the papers ,watched the news, talked to people that are Hispanic and still no one has explained why the law doesn't apply to you.Why not enter this country via the legal route then there would not be a problem. Is this just a trumped up issue to keep the masses occupied while something more sinister is being formulated? I am sincere in my quest for an answer to this.....
And by the way, land taken in war is no longer your land, the land belongs to the victor so its not stolen nor is it yours,it belongs to the United States of America and we can call it America if we wish, its our country..

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview.
When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... and how many want out."
