Wow, thats a really long day. I remember that my bus ride home was so long - I was the 2nd to last kid to get dropped off (Which meant I didn't get home till about 4pm - but I was in high school). My family started arranging to pick me up so I wouldn't have to waste time on the bus. If you can, try to pick your daughter up and then she'll get home earlier.

Is it normal that she's 9 or is it normal that she gets on the bus at 7:45 or Is it normal that you get home at 4:15? Which question are you asking?

yea its completly normal. some states have now increased school time so children can learn more. i would call your daughter school to make sure if they have switched school dismissal

yes my daugher is also 9 and its the same thing , school have new systems now. not like when we were in school.
