not eating does nothing for your metabolism. even if you're not hungry, you should eat breakfast. even a cup of yogurt or an apple, anything to get your metabolism going. after that, feel free to not eat until your hungry, but you should make sure you eat at least twice a day. (i ate yogurt this morning and i'm not hungry yet, i'm planning on eating at 5..)

I think even if you're not hungry, a light snack is still important everyday. However, not a junk food snack, just maybe a couple RITZ crackers and some turkey meat in between. I think once you eat something light, you might get hungry a little later. If you're trying to lose weight, dont eat heavy meals and only eat 3x a day, and keep your junk foods to a minimum. You should know that the best way to keep in shape is just to go jogging (treadmill, gym,or in your neighborhood with a friend) at least 3 days a week. Sweating off the excess body fat is very healthy and of course, drinking plenty of water too!

Binging and purging will only slow your metabolism down, which is exactly what you do not want to happen. It is better to eat small meal throughout the day, avoiding high carb foods and increase your protein intake to a ratio of 80% protein to 20% carbs. You'll lose weight then.

Don't go without eating. When you do you put your body in starvation mode, and when that happens your metabolism slows down. Eat a little low cal stuff, something with protein. A piece of cheese and a peice of fruit. Something to keep your metabolism going or you'll find it hard to lose weight

If your not hungry than your just fine. Your body will tell you when you need food. Then when your eating stop eating as soon as your full. Don't just keep eating because there is still food on your plate.

Not really a good idea. Your body needs some kind of fuel to keep going, so you really should ingest some kind of calories. HOWEVER, that said, it's okay not to eat between meals or change your eating times if you're not hungry.

sweetie, No offence but you could be sick or even have anorexia.You Could faint becouse of not eating.If people say "girl, you look skinny" and you look at your self and think " I'm FAT!" there is a problem. Also there a sicknesses that dont let you feel you are hungry. Please b careful.
