Ok here is the deal I am super tired of girls complaining that their boyfriends are jerks, but the question is why are girls dating jerks instead of nice guys. I am thinking that girls like jerks. Girls go for guys that they met at a party while getting wasted or at a bar. Girls like guys with tattoos, and piercings. "Ohhhh what a cool guy, he is such a rebel. He doesnt care for authority, and doesnt go to school" Then they start crying about him being a jerk. Well duh. Why dont girls instead go out with nerdy guys that are trying to get an education and could take care of you financially in the future. You know the nice guy who is sweet and maybe rights poems to a girl he likes, but will get rejected more than likely. What is the deal with this.
IN conclusion do girls like guys that are guys that are cool but are jerks and treat women like shi/t, instead of nerdy guys that are sweet, getting an education an respect women?

I think when it comes to dating (Early on) girls do like guys who are "cool." I mean nothing makes you feel better than a hot guy making you feel beautiful. But when it comes down to who a girl will eventually fall for and probably marry. It's the guy who has the education and who can take care of them. Hang in there!!

As women get older they start to realize that those guys that are jerks are not the right guys for them. It will take a few heartbreaks for the girl to realize that. In the end the nice guy usually wins.
A good example is the show average Joe. Yes, true the girls picked the jerks but they were through with them shortly after and probably kicking themselves for not making the other choice.
Be patient, and most important continue to be a nice guy. It will pay off.

i have had boyfriends in the past who were jerks, but were so-called "cool". But there is a reason that they are in the past. I realized quickly that what really matters isn't what other people think about my boyfriend, its what i do. There are so many girls out there that think the same way i do, i would go for a nice "nerdy" guy over any jerk any day of the week. Thankfully, i found the sweetest guy in the world, and, after dating for five months, we are now officially together. He has lots of good friends, but he's not the most popular guy ever. What really matters is that he treats me with respect, he works hard, and he's a sweetheart.
Don't worry you'll find the perfect girl for you.

YES. I agree 100% with u! A lot of women are Neurotic, and have a need to suffer because they have allowed it in all their relationships. Most of the time I think its not even the guy, because if u wanna be respected u wouldnt allow certain things, and yet they stay with these jerks, which ultimately comes down to Insecurity, and that whole bit, but no one can treat u bad if u dont allow it.

I hear you! I am a girl, but I am sick and tired of hearing my friends complain about it too. And I have quit dating rebel guys because they just end up hurting me in the end anyway. You have a great point. But I can say the same thing for guys too: why do most guys go for the stuck-up snotty skinny chicks that expect their 'men' to cater to them? Why not a nice down-to-earth girl that would treat their guy like a king? It goes both ways!

Well as a general rule, I don't go after guys that are the typical jerks. I date guys that are going to school or are working so that they can go to school. Who wants someone that treats us like garbage. I want to be respected. I may come across as mean a lot of the time, but in reality it is just knowing what I want.

i like a guy that can make me laugh no matter if he is a rebel. i'm just into the rebel look and i dig the whole tatoos thing. but you are right "amen" to girls getting on my nerves to always complaining that there man is a jerk. if he's a jerk than leave him and find an other one. simple as that. and if he's gonna be a jerk but you aint gonna leave him than don't complain you obviously like him that way since your still with him! an other "amen" to you and an f*you to girls who are always complaining!

Well is guys were not such jerks then they need not worry about being thought of as one. We don't consider any guy jerks until he wears it on him like a robe. They stamp their own forheads with the word jerk.

I think that comes with age. Priorities are definetly different when you are younger. Young girls like the bad boys, they are fun! While older women like the so called "nerds", because they are in another chapter in their life!
