No, the bristles will catch on your braids and this could break some of the hair. I would suggest massaging with your finger tips while you have braids and use the brush when you take your hair down.
Of Course, you could use just the back of the brush and still get the vibrating effect and this can still help with blood circulation.

I guess its the itch clean it with a cotton wool and methylated spirit but not any brush as you will ruin your braids

I think you will break your hair off if it gets tangled up in the bristles......and it will.
