well, some of their shows are really good for a laugh...
they are businessmen - religion is their business and i do feel sorry for the poor people that are suckered by these "healing ministers"
also keep in mind that these organizations do not have to pay tax.
in short - most of them are TAKING ADVANTAGE of people's pain and misery
PS they buy hankies by the dozens.

They are fakes. Sign gifts such as healing are no longer in existence. The disciples did not have the written word to share so these gifts were used to authenticate God. Paul even says that these will cease when the Word is complete. Actually, he is speaking in the past tense at one point. So, no healing, no tongues, no interpretation of tongues, nothing like that. The qualifications for those gifts is no longer able to be achieved today. They will return during the tribulation. Please let's not forget we are supposed to divide the word. Let's also not forget that our bible lays out gentile and jewish culture and doctrine.

Most of these frauds need a visit from the DA but most are too afraid to go after them. It's religion you know.
I think the best way to go after them is thru the honest churches and religious charities. (Yes there are some don't be snotty) Religious people who's books are straight should denounce these crooks and make sure the gullible amoung the flock don't donate.

They are a bunch of crooks and sharlatins anyone who sends them money has to be out of their mind.
They have million dollar homes and jets and limozines.
One man was on a talk show and he had previously been running a con game about real estate investments.
cheating people out of large sums of money. He was attractive and karismatic. So he went into this religious show and said he has made millions and it is tax free. No way to prove he hasn't helped people into heaven as he proposes to do if they send him money. He laughingly said, until someone comes back from the dead and says you lied i have it made. I believe he thought it was funny and the people still send him money.
A lot of foolish people in the world who believe you can give another man money and he gets you in good with God.

They are not working for God, God said healings would stop when what is complete arrives. That is the complete works of His word, healings were done in the early ministry to prove the apostles were from God, they are no longer needed. One way to know they don't originate with God is, they want money, God says; give free because you received free. They are not suppose to be making money for it, but rather, God's word says; God loves a cheerful giver. You should give from the heart what you can afford to give not under compulsion, but willingly.

I feel 90 to 99 % of it is phoney.
And it is very sad because it also is the cause of many being decieved and many feeling justified to not believe.
God does still heal and is more than able to heal because He is the same yesterday today and forever.
But most of what you see on T.V. is a horrible misuse of Gods name. I pray God have mercy on them and draw them close to Him. Some of the people you see are sincere but just mislead, I pray for them also.

The biggest enemies and attackers of the Healing Ministries are the phonies masquerading as Christians. Those who own Bibles...and actually read them...don't have a problem with the notion.

I feel that if they were the real deal, they wouldn't be on television. They seem only out to gain a name for themselves, and if they were really healing in God's name they would be going out and doing Gods work like the disciples rather than sitting in their big expensive churches waiting for people to come to them.

If they are false prophets then they will be judged by God. There are some that are real and there are some that aren't - you can't judge them just because they have a tv ministry or because they drive a nice car. For all you know God has blessed them for serving him, we aren't in any position to judge - leave that up to God.

My thought on these deceivers is that if you are ignorant in God's Word, you are going to fall for their scams. For those of us who take the time to study the letter that our Father wrote us, scripture by scripture, verse by verse, in the original languages that it was written in, there is no possible way to be deceived.
Ignorance in the Word is what sets good people up to be deceived, but it is their own choice, as everyone now has full access to God's Word and the tools necessary to understand it fully.
As for these false teachers and scammers, our Father will deal with them in His timing. :)
