Lately I've been struggling with an issue of realationships. My question to you all is does true love exist? the basis of this comes from the feeling that I can say I love you to so many people in my life, yet they all mean different things. Help me out with the meaning of love. Thanks!

i believe it does.... and it has to do with what u expect from urself in the relationship, from ur partner, and from the relationship itself.

i loved my ex, and i know he loved me. but something wasn't right with the relationship, i couldn't figure it out. but now that i'm with someone truly good for me, i can see what was missing. love was there...but we weren't able to grow that love, to make our relationship Better. in fact, thru the fights, miscommunications, frustration, it made our relationship worse, negative, full of dissatisfaction. we loved eachother and tried to stay togehter, and even kept goign back to eachother after breaking up. but in the end, it's not a True Love...because love is caring for that person SO MUCH their happiness is above yours; you want the best for that person regardless of what happens to you.

logically speaking, if u can find someone who feels the same way about you (which is not easy, but SO worth finding), u will be able to get thru Anything. u will be able to communicate, trust, and grow the relationship, use that Love to fuel your committment, become stronger ,better as time goes by. i have finally experienced this with my current boyfriend..and it totally changed my life, my outlook on everything. we went thru some ups and downs, same as my past relationships..but i tried my best to understand him and communicate my needs..and he tried his best to understand me and help me fix the problems!!!! when that happens, it's so amazing how much stronger your relationship can become. i look forward to our future, because i am so strong and confident about our relationship now. things are not perfect...but the way we handle things together IS perfect to me, and that's all that matters. we cannot control situations, but we can control how we take care of eachother, how we treat eachother. once u find someone on the same page as you, it truly is something worth working on, something worth saving.

that is why, u have to continue to work on urself. become a wonderful, smart, strong, beautiful, positive and Healthy person, so that u will contribute something Awesome to your relationships. and also, u will be able to expect awesome things from ur partner, because u continue to keep urself accountable. u will never take anything less that what is Good. what you Deserve. keep positive , healthy people around u and filter out the negatives; people who abuse, or make u feel bad, or don't care enough to satisfy your needs. love may be there, but if that person doesnt' know how to use that love to create a satisfying, secure environment for you, then u need to find someone who Can and Will.

good luck, and be the Great Girlfriend and Woman that u know u can be. and dont' expect Anything less than a Great Boyfriend and Man, and u will be happy to continue the work it takes to maintain a stable, secure and positive relationship. :)

yes true love does exist, i was just like you, having issues with relationships, and i have found the right one for me. Just dont look for someone let them come to you, becuz if you dont look, then love will just pop out of nowhere and you will be excited to find ur true love. True love is when you think about the person more times in a day then thinking bout yourself, When true love comes, you know what you can not live without them.

returned, an relatively cleverly worded question. Bravo! Unconditional love does not exist in my opinion (with the a threat exception being discern/newborn relationships). Many circumstances would desire to be agreed upon and met for any relationship to thrive and/or proceed to exist. Re: 'expectation we've' and 'annulment'....My opinion is that to have expectancies of yet another is purely a fool's errand. whilst or if those expectancies at the instant are not met...a well timed annulment of the relationship occurs.

Love means different things to different people. With true love, I believe that you know that you love the person and you don't have to repeat it over and over, it's an understanding and you express your love other ways besides just saying "I love you". Not meaning materialistic things, but just the little things in life that bring about happiness to one another. Love does mean different things to people in your life. That's OK. It is supposed to. You know who to truly love and just as long as that person knows that, you'll be fine!

True love DOES exist..you can love different people in different ways...but true love is from your very soul...the one that makes your heart skip a beat when you think of them...the one that makes you smile from within...that one person you would give all for, but they would never ask because they feel the same for you...that's true love...at least to me

Yes it does!!! I have found my true love and you will know for sure that true love does exist when you find it! It can't be mistaken for, you will know the moment it happens to you. Your view on everything will change and you will understand people when they say they would give their life for someone-- because you will find out that you would give your life for that certain someone! There is someone out there for everyone, just hold on until that person arrives, you will know when it is true love!

All love is true, how true on the other hand will be a very subjective and fickle thing.
