If you refer to Germany: No, fortunately, the Neo Nazis (NPD) are a minority in political life and this will not change. They have no chance to get stronger because their program is pathetic and this party consists only of jerks and lowlifes blaming foreigners for everything. Neo Nazis are ****-ups who cannot deal with their life. Same goes for the Communist bastards who have no chance either to get powerful. Nevertheless there are some rural communities in Eastern Germany (former DRG) where support for extreme right or left is quite strong. But no reason to worry: In a whole none of them is powerful at all.
And no, Hitler fortunately lost the war.

If by powerful, you mean by the violence they create and incite, then yes, they are very powerful.
If you mean do they exercise significant political influence, then no, no yet. No polititian who wants to be elected would dare claim any sympathy with a neo-nazi organization.
The problem is, I have no doubt that there are elected polititians who sympathize with, at least, some of what the neo nazis and other radical right wing extremists espouse. Some parts of the immigration reform debate are just one example.
So, the risk is, what happens when, bit by bit, more of these extremist views become popular?
Please note my earlier use of the term "radical ... extremist." This is a term getting wide use in today's news. We mostly use it to describe "their" radical extremists, often forgetting that we have our own, home grown versions right here in the US.
So, ask yourself, again, if it is possible for the neo nazis to become powerful. Perhaps if they came out under a different name, such as National Socialist Party. Would you recognize them then?

No, No, No. The problem now is communism. The could war isn't over. Facism (Middle East, Hezbollan) is the main enemy now, but the string pullers are communist (Russia China) Fascim will be nothing more than a pawn, and communism will shortly destroy the world.

Neo-Nazis are a bunch of scaredy cat nancy-pants that hide behind their own inadequacies. They will never gain power because they can't even get along with each other.

Dangerous? Yeah, somewhat.
Powerful? Hardly.
Possible? Not really.
Hitler Win? You're joking, right? He poisoned himself and then ate his gun after murdering his wife. Sounds like a real hero and great role model, ya think?

Nope. With the death-like fear of terrorists we have today, any significant uprising would be quickly snuffed out.
