I'm planning a romantic weekend. We're staying at a bed and breakfast and going to a couple wineries. I was thinking of giving a small gift at the start of the vacation. Just a small momento, of sorts - nothing extravegent. Sometime to use on the vacation and enjoy. Does anybody have any ideas of what I could give? I want it to help build the excitement for the weekend as we're leaving on the trip.

How about a silk or satin robe? She can use it while at the bed and breakfast, and then who know? Maybe after the trip, she can use it at your place too.

How approximately making a romantic dinner for 2? Use candlelight and play some comfortable, soothing song. I intense-high quality bottle of wine can assist you the two relax. Spend the nighttime watching a competent action picture or basically basically speaking and getting greater familiar.

I say underwear, I think you should run her a hot bubble bath and let her soak... when she comes out have the bedroom filled with candles and rose petals...champagne on ice (i did this for my bf and he nearly cried lol)...
She'll not only know exactly what you want that night ;oP but she'll see it wasn't so materialistic.. more thoughtful.
I guess if you really want to splash out, then a nice necklace on the bedside table might be nice 2.

You want to give her something she can wear while you are on vacation. Maybe a braclet, or a ring(just a nice one not engagement), possible a bathing suit, that would be nice. Any way you are taking her aways, she is going to love it. Good job!!!
