I was in the military and got fed-up. I was able to get out with an honorable discharge. They had just involuntarily extended me six months beyond my ETS. Look it up in the UCMJ

Before I reenlisted, after Sept. 11th, I was involuntarily reenlisted and didn't even know it. They did mine on a DA Form 4186, Personnel Action. I'm still in, but it took me a couple of years before I even knew that if I wanted to get out, I couldn't have. That is known as the "Backdoor Draft" or "Stop-Loss." It happened to a lot of people.

Yeah, but it's not in the UCMJ,; it's in the personnel regulation: 600-200. As long as you're willing to go through life being labeled as substandard, a Chapter 13 discharge will do.
