All or any of these answers above could be right. I've said it before and it depends upon who I said it to. If I was saying it to my BF its because I don't feel I am good enough for my man or I dont think he's good enough for ME. If I say it to someone who is not my BF but someone I want to be my BF I would say it only honestly if I thought the girl he was with wasn't good enough for him and he deserved better. In any case, I think you should be asking the girl who said this WHY she is saying this and fish for your answer until you get one.

She may not have a lot of confidence and doesn't believe she is good enough for you.

it could be that she just wants to hear you say how fantastic she is.
or Its her way of saying she doesnt want you, but doesnt want to hurt your feelings.
