I'm sorry. Somewhere I missed the evidence of evolution. Last I checked it was still a theory. And there are many books on this theory.

That is sorta it, though not quite. With science, you have the development of a hypothesis, the gathering of evidence, the interpretation of that evidence, then books. With religion, you have the story, which in most cases is an oral tradition that is passed on, then the interpretation and recording of those stories, which produces the book.
In both cases, there is interpretation taking place. This interpretation does not stop at the writing of the initial books, however. In both science and religion, when new circumstances and new ideas come into play, the old books are interpreted differently, and in some respect "change".

no, not true with all religions. in christianity, story first, then book. the book can't have happened without the stories that tell how things came to be first. there was no 'forget the story, change the book, then book first' when it comes to the bible.

Both follow the principles of "self fulfilling"

Science starts with assumptions....builds an apparatus that measures the expected, notes the evidence that the apparatus verified the assumption....then publishes and publishes etc etc etc until something shows up that the assumptions don't anticipate ....change the book ,,,change the apparatus...ask for another grant ask for a grant extension...etc etc etc
Change the assumptions to successfully reflect the new data....

repeat as nauseum

now how is religion significantly different????
money directly into apparati
maintain the assumptions regardless of the data
save on publishing costs

I hate to break it to you guys but, science doesn't propose a theory unless there are facts for it to fit.

You can't have a theory without evidence. Newton didn't propose the theory of gravity before he witnessed it. If someone discovers or develops new evidence, the theory is revised (einstein did this for newton's theories). Newton's theories are still accurate, but Einstein's are _more_ accurate.

Hypothesis is step 2 in the scientific method, something you all should have learned in school.

1. Observation and description of a phenomenon or group of phenomena.

2. Formulation of an hypothesis to explain the phenomena. In physics, the hypothesis often takes the form of a causal mechanism or a mathematical relation.

3. Use of the hypothesis to predict the existence of other phenomena, or to predict quantitatively the results of new observations.

4. Performance of experimental tests of the predictions by several independent experimenters and properly performed experiments.

Actually the scientific method is generally:
1. observe a phenomena
2. hypothesis
3. Test hypothesis
4. have others test hypothesis
5. Develop a theory
6 Rigorously test the theory
7. Explain is per reviewed journals
8. Independent conformation
9. Book

Religion:
1. Tell a story
2. Convince others to blindly follow it
3. Write it down and change it over time to suit you needs

Science: theory first, then books---lots of books, then evidence, then substitute that evidence for newer evidence (this is a never-ending loop).

Religion: self-righteousness first, lots of books, then useless debate by unqualified preachers, then damnation.

Following God: Faith and trust in the Holy Spirit and the Bible---nothing else is needed.

The Bible is surely sixty six books mixed into one great quantity. approximately 40 different people wrote those books. God helped them do the writing (study 2 Timothy 3v16). basically as a pencil doesn`t write a e book – a man or woman makes use of the pencil to jot down the e book – God used people to jot down the books of the Bible. indexed here are some stable examples that tutor that God helped the writers: The Bible is composed of many scientific info that have been written hundreds of years till now people found them – The Earth is around (Isaiah 40v22) people used to think of the Earth became flat. The Bible is composed of scientific info that have been written hundreds of years till now scientists proved that they are authentic – arms could be washed in working water to get rid of invisible germs (Leviticus 15v13). Blood is the source of all existence (Leviticus 17v11). God asked activity an exceptionally unusual question in 1500BC “are you able to deliver lightnings, that they'd flow and say to you, here we are?” (activity 38 v 35) This seems to be a scientifically unusual fact, that easy could be sent and then exchange itself into speech. yet did you already know that each and one and all electromagnetic radiation – from radio waves to xrays – travels on the cost of sunshine ? it is why you might have instant on the spot communique with somebody on the different component of the worldwide. the certainty that easy could be sent and then show up itself in speech wasn`t found by utilising technology till 1864 (3300 years later) whilst British Scientist James Clerk Maxwell reported that electrical energy and easy-weight waves have been 2 forms of a similar situation. cellular telephones, the place would we be with out them?!!!!! The Bible has many prophecies that have come authentic: Jesus would be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5v2). Jesus would die a painful death (Psalm 22v16). Jesus would upward push from the ineffective (Psalm 16v10). basically God would have person-friendly in improve that each and one and all of those issues would take place. This proves that the people who wrote the Bible have been helped by utilising God. via fact God helped to jot down the Bible, we are in a position to believe that each and one and all of it`s words are authentic. it is impossible for God to lie. (Hebrews 6v18).
