DITTO to Ju Encarn above.Let me add this though;
The" first attack " came when Muslims with swords in hand went out of mecca invading many lands an forcing conversions to Islam. After numerous generations the products of this rape and pillaging have been brainwashed to believe they have made the decision uncoerced to follow alla.
The western media is far from perfect but are you able to find a better example in any Islamic country?. Didn't the Taliban completely sever the heads of even women for expressing a dissenting view. Please save yourself from the ignorance you may have. I truly feel sorry for you. I want you to live free inside and out. Happy as much as possible.
If you disagree with my position I still wish you the best as long as you don't blow yourself up in front of innocent civilians.

I agree that the western media probably portrays issues in a certain light and not always from all sides. But they have bosses to answer to and they have stockholders to answer to and they have politicians to answer to so what can we expect.
It is true that all Muslims are not terrorists, but it is also true that all terrorists are Muslims.
If you don't like this media portrayal, I would suggest that the Muslim population demand that their governments and religious leaders go public, with the media and publicly denounce terrorism and Muslims that associate their selves with this instead of remaining silent for the most part. They should demand that their governments arrest and exile suspected terrorists and members of their organizations. Silence is interpreted as passive acceptance or agreement.

>>>attacking direct on their residential areas<<<
That's because the terrorists like to deliberately hide in residential areas, using the residents as human shields.
And, when the inevitable attack comes and the civilians who are in the way accidentally get hurt or killed, the terrorists can then score "pity points" in the court of public opinion -- just like you are trying to do now.
Sorry, but I think any reasonably informed person can see through this con game.

I had heard that Muslims carry over their grievances for 500 years. My advice stop killing and get over it.
9/11 killed women and children and babies. No one was bothering them until they did that.
They went into Kuwait and killed women and children and no one was bothering them. Gulf War.
What about the horn of Africa? They won the war and continued the fighting. Darfur. Still starving to death millions of innocent women and children and America isn't involved.
Can't blame them there. 3 fractions of Muslims are fighting.
Leader Joseph Kony self proclaimed prophet and mystic.
Minni, arcua, Minnawi all Muslims.
They have kidnapped 25,000 Children the girls they use as sex slaves and the boys they train to fight. That was even on aljazera a muslim News agency.
tens of thousands have been killed by them mostly civilians.
2 million displaced they are keeping aid from so they can slowly starve to death. The UN international court declared amnesty for the groups if they would just stop killing they said no.
The felt anyone who didn't believe in Allah should die.
No allowance for converts either Won't even come to the peace talks they want to fight each other.
You might find this interesting most muslims who have been killed have been killed by other muslims. That was on Al jazera.
Not an american news agency

It is true that many media organizations in the West (Europe and N.America) give a very incomplete picture of what is happening. I would not say they project lies. Terrorism certainly exists. But they may not give the full picture.
Having said that, ask yourself, are media in Islamic nations any better? Do the media in Islamic nations always project the 'right' picture? Islamic nations in middle east, until recently did not even have free press, but only state controlled media who were frankly, telling fairy-tales. Al -Jazeera is a welcome change.
Media in the middle east give an incomplete picture because they are largely state controlled and are allowed to give only biased views. Media in the 'West' gives incomplete picture because they are owned by certain groups and depending upon who own the media, the coverage differs.
The truth is, we live in a world where we are surrounded by all kinds of opinions and media coverage. If we really want to get at the truth, it is we who have to decide to analyse things in an unbiased way and make-up our mind after carefull consideration. In other words, we can get information from all those media organisations. But we have to apply thought and think for ourselves. We must not depend upon others to think for us and give us an unbiased opinion.
