Try Nutro. They have several different puppy foods you can try (lamb and rice, chicken and rice, etc.). Their food has no corn in it and is easier to digest because of this. Your dog will eat less and poop less, which will be awesome since he will be a big dog!

As for the human food issue, when one of my dogs stopped eating her food because we took the canned food out of it, I called my vet and she said "She will not starve herself. She will eat when she's hungry enough." I waited it out and she ate 4 days later and has been eating every day ever since!

Good luck!

My two dogs are really picky eaters, but any dog will eat if it gets hungry enough. One thing that I do, I feed them mostly dry food (chicken and rice beneful) but I buy the small cans of any wet food and put just enough in the dry to make it more enticing (I mix it in real good). My dogs are smaller so I only use 1/4 of a can. With a pyrenees you'll need to use more.

Just curious, what's wrong with Science Diet?

stop giving him ANY human food, not even little tastes. Feed him twice a day and if he doesn't eat withing thirty minutes to an hour, pick it up and take it away. You can add just a bit of warm water or chicken broth to soften it up and mix in a little wet food if you want. When he gets hungry enough, he'll eat. If you do this and he doesn't eat for more than two days, then have him checked by a vet. Dogs aren't picky, they'll eat anything, and when he gets hungry enough he'll eat. If he doesn't, there is a chance he could be sick.

As someone who has fostered many puppies and has worked in the pet industry for years.................trust me, your puppy won't starve itself, by switching foods and adding stuff to it, you are just reassuring him that he is the boss and that he can be picky cause he knows you'll fix it. I say stick to a food, add a little warm water to it, if he doesn't eat it within 2 hours, throw it out! Don't keep giving in!! Remember your the boss!!

Go! is an excellent puppy food, so is Nutro Natural Choice Lamb&Rice Puppy

Smart puppy...if you knew what was really in those foods you wouldn't eat them either! However...puppies will eat almost anything with a little cottage cheese. I feed my 4 legged family members a blend of several. Sensible Choice which is made by Royal Cainn, mixed with some Duck and Potato Dick Van Patten's Food.....All ages and Stages...good enough to eat yourself. Purina one is good and Purina is coming out with a new and improved line...but the above that you mentioned.....NASTY Stuff! You will pay in the END....no pun intended.

I love great pyreneses! Mine died less than a month ago, and it was quite upsetting. For them to be such big dogs they have a very high metabolism so they dont eat as much as you would think a large dog would. I would say, like the others, keep offering dog food. You may want to add some water or chicken broth to the dog food to be more appetizing to the puppy. Maybe the dog food is too hard? I bet he is beatiful!

Dogs will hold out for somthing better in the food if you keep adding human food to the dog food that is why your dog will not eat he is waiting to see what you will offer next. give dry food only and leave the food down for no longer than 10 minutes then take it up do not put the food down again till the next feeding time. Your dog will not starve

just don't give it people food, it will eventually get hungry and eat the food that you buy for it, how old is this puppy anyway? if its not old enough to be taken from its mom, it won't eat puppy food.

the beneful puppy food is good enough for your puppy, he/she will eat it when he/she is hungry so don't worry. it took our dog 3 days before he started to eat when we first got him.
