I did track in high school and felt so good about my body being in shape. Now that i no longer participate i feel, for lack of a better word, blah. I'm more into group activities so does anyone have any good plans or routines that worked for them?

Why don't you join a running club who will train you with others for various events like a 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon or a marathon. You run in your pace group. These people become your support group through the process. It is highly rewarding and a great way to meet friends and get into shape.

Hi
Along with this good exercise plan, you need a good eating plan as well so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.

Hi Sam!

I would suggest group exercise classes like aerobics. The are often high intensity cardio classes that would simulate much that you did in high school track. Moreover, it is done as group training, which you also seem to like. This should get you back on track. :)

I believe this answers your question, but if not, you may email me.

Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!
