Does any one know of good safe areas in Charlotte? I've been reading that crime is somewhat of an issue. Is it not as bad as I think? Any advice would be great! Thanks

I am assuming you're referring to Charlotte, NC.
If I am correct, I would definitely suggest living outside the city...like in Concord, Huntersville, Pineville...any of the surrounding suburbs. Charlotte is a nice city, but I would never want to live there. By the way traffic is a b*tch.

Charlotte's a great place to live :)
Think south charlotte. If you have money, the popular Ballantyne, Piper Glen area is a nice place to live. Quail Hollow is also very lovely. Berwick is also a great area, but not nearly as much money. It's far from uptown though.
Crime is an issue yes, but Charlotte is a VERY big city. Crime is also very heavily concentrated in west and east charlotte. Best to stay away from those areas.

I've lived in Charlotte for 8 years. It is a very safe place. South Charlotte and South Park are the best areas. Try to stay away from east Charlotte. The University area is OK, but it's very congested and I don't care to live there.

I live about 1 hour north of Charlotte. Best thing to do is move to a town close by like Kannapolis or Concord, then commute for 20 minutes. The cost of living is less, plus it's a lot safer.

don't move anywhere on albermarle rd,or central ave. or tryon.i live in the starmount neighborhood off of south blvd.its nice.anywhere in south charlotte is ok it depends on your money situation.downtown is not a good idea.if you need more email me

arlington Texas. I am from Texas and alot of people don't like it but i dont see why not. Texas is as good of a state as any other. It's jus what you make of it and the people you meet. Good luck on moving and hope you find what you are looking for
