How do I get car just purchased from PA to NY?

Buying car in PA from private seller thru dealer as COURTESY TRADE. I want to drive car back from PA to NY. What's the easiest way to do this? Temporary plates from PA? NY?

If it's going through a PA dealer they'll put a temp PA tag on it. Just drive it home. Or get the paperwork in advance and get your NY tags and bring them with you.
