Yes. The bible says that the whole of the city was annihilated except for Lot's family.

God is a child murderer.

Well, would be, if he existed.

maybe no children lived there. maybe it was a place where only adults lived...who knows.
in the Book of Genesis starting in chapter 18, verse 16 Abraham is pleading to God for sodom and gomorrah and he asks God was he really going to destroy the innocent with the guilty and he said to God if there are 50 innocent people in the city will He destroy the whole city? God answered him saying if He found 50 innocent people in sodom and gomorrah He would spare the whole city for their sake. then Abraham asked God if there were just 45 innocents there would He destroy it and God said the same thing. then Abraham said if there are only 40 would God detroy the city and God said no. finally, after some time Abraham asked God if there were 10 innocent people left in sodom and gomorrah would God destroy the whole city and God said He will not destroy it if there are 10. all of this implies that God had no intention of destroying sodom and gomorrah if there was any innocent people living there.
in any case i believe God's reason for destroying that place was justified because He knew everyone there was sinning. God don't owe us mere mortals any explanation of what He decides to do. He created us after all. The Creator knows what He created and God knows us all perfectly well.

Yes it included the children. Children suffer becuase of the sins of the adults; and animals suffer becuase of the sins of man.

And God has the right to destroy man becuase He made us, not us Him. I would compare it to a child playing with blocks or legos and all the sudden realizes he doesnt like what he's made; so the child tears it down and starts over. That's what God did when he realized that man was full of sin throughout and he didnt like it. So He decided to tear us down in the form of a great flood all over the planet, and then start over. If I'm not mistaken the next time God destroys the Earth and sinful humans he cant stand; He said it would be by fire; Which I guess would be erupting volcanoes or something.

Are you kidding, God killed lots of innocent men, women and children, even allowed women to be raped.

God is the greatest mass murderer in history.

References: Genesis 6:11-17 and Genesis 7:11-24
Some examples:

GE 6:13 - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

GE 6:17 - And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Seems to me that God (for you believers) is annoyed with humanity other than his buddy Noah, and decides to kill (murder) every living thing on the face of the earth, except of course Noah and his family - got to have a few friends left.

God allowed women raped and your little children slaughtered.
From God’s so called Bible - Isaiah 13:15-18

“Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.”

How any decent person can believe and follow the Bible is beyond imagination, seems like religious people just ignore the bits they dislike and twist the rest into a happy delusion, much like the behaviour of drug addicts.

I have studied the Bible for 25 years and can even translate revelations. Yes that did include their children. The reason being is that if he had let them live they would have grown up the same as their parents.;the sins of the fathers are visited upon the children'

i imagine that meant children and women as well as the men, some times i think those sort of things are difficult to understand, but you have to beleive in the goodness of god, he did say if there were only ten good ( i think ) men he wouldnt destroy the city. also am beginning to think pompeii was destroyed by god because of their sin, after watching a documentary on the eruption.

Yes in the old testament even children were killed because they did not want the offspring to do the same thing and the children probably went to heaven

Yes - The Israelites killed a lot of babies in the name of god. Check out the story of the Midianites in Numbers 31:1-18.

yea, now and lower back its annoying to get one's head around particular issues which will look cruel. those human beings lived in abhorrent sin, orgies, immoral forms of intercourse, perverting that it incredibly is captivating and particular between what's meant to be married human beings. From a logical attitude, if there have been certainly teenagers in contact (the Bible does not say) and those teenagers learnt the type of immoral issues from what grow to be meant to be their function fashions (mothers and fathers and older human beings) then, those infants carried with them (of their expertise) the ailment of an immoral way of existence. NOw once I say this, of course, i'm no longer judging, i'm attempting to place the excellent component into logical attitude. some human beings say that once youngsters innocence are perverted, they are greater effectual off 'lifeless'. occasion, teenagers who have been abused and so on. i've got often heard of girls people who have been raped say, i might incredibly be lifeless than circulate by using the reminiscence of it...havent you? I wasnt there, nor grow to be everyone at the instant right here on Y.A. so from a logical and Christian attitude (by way of fact luckily God gave me a competent techniques) we are able to deduce that those infants have been spared the distress of perpetuating the type of way of existence that should wreck their inner sense of self. residing an immoral existence, single companions, gay intercourse, distinctive those are no longer met with God's approval, in accordance to the Bible, yet, on the instant, by way of fact Jesus has died, we are to love absolutely everyone, even our enemies. If i meet somebody who's gay or of yet another faith, my first inclination as a competent Christian is to settle for, to no longer choose, by way of fact God is the suitable choose. now and lower back we don't understand whilst undesirable issues happen (to good human beings)...yet my take is that a diamond is valueless whilst uncut. Make of that what you will, God bless, information.
