some people say that "truth is only only relative" or "truth is only how we perceive reality", if that is the case, then their statement contradicts itself since it is an absolute statement> therefore, I believe that an absolute truth does exist that applies to everybody and his name is Jesus Christ>

I agree with you as well. You're talking about the idea of "relativism." Simply by saying relativism is true, you are making an absolute statement. I think that's why America's youth is so apathetic--they're being taught to think everything is true. So why care what goes on if there is no right and wrong?

So the truth is God's relative?

No one believes that truth is relative or truth is based in perception. Anyone who tries to say this would have no reason to search for evidence, or chose a doctor over my three year old daughter for helping recover from an illness. These are easy rationalizations for not being responsible for finding criteria to act upon. So is the religious idea about Jesus you are spouting.

"Do you believe Jesus Christ is the "truth">>? "
No.
That is why I converted to Judaism.
Jesus was Jewish.
His teachings were firmly rooted in Torah.
His ways and lifestyle were that of a pious Jew.
And I seriously doubt that he wanted to start a new religious faith.

Unfortunately, we know little of the historical Jesus, but the aforementioned are fact.
The New Testament Scripture is based on word-of-mouth, decades after his death.
Words go round and get twisted.

If Jesus actually said "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father also." (John 14:6-7a), it could be reasonably interpreted that he meant that we should study Torah.
For in his time, the rabbi's were the ones who people looked to for guidance.
His understanding of Torah would mean that people could come to him for answers about God.
And if we studied Torah, we would also know God (at least, to some degree).

Christians believe Jesus is the Truth. Muslims believe Allah is the Truth. Hindi believe Vishnu is the Truth.

Discordians don't care what the truth is as long as they can have a hot dog with it... except on Fridays!

regrettably very practically no longer something ofr what you're saying makes any experience .. that would desire to concern you in basic terms a sprint ..I actually have a exceedingly quite sttrong skill to think of out of a container and that i don't get 0.5 a sentance of what you're asserting ..and 30 greater sentance like it do no longer look to help in any respect ..attempt breaking down what you try to declare greater logicly or in basic terms end bothering via fact no person gets it ..you could think of you're smarter or rather directly to a pair new wild theory or bible code etc .. guess what the bible is easy adequate for a toddler .. in case you extremely have been that crafty .. you will have the skill to narrate .. the two you like to be no longer touching on or you do no longer care ..the two way it rather is not insightful . no person is getting it and maximum are not bothering to even glean a chew of what you try to declare ... until eventually all you attempt to do is by some skill seen paintings .. then so is undesirable blashemy ..enable your self to declare much less ... with greater relatability .. yeah you have gotten to chat right down to those that in basic terms don't get you yet once you relate .. than you could communicate.

Unfortunately, man people are being taught relativity. And unfortunately many people will wake up to the reality one day that their reality wasn't real at all but that they now stand before someone that they must give an answer to.
Relativism is a person's way of justifying what they do and what they believe to be right so that they will not feel guilty for doing what is wrong.

Christians do believe in absolute truths. Other faiths (and/or atheists) do not. That is a major source of conflict.

Jesus is "the truth". Nobody gets to the father but through him. I do not know any Christians who say "truth is relative". Believe what you wish, but don't let these "relative truths" deceive you. It is just a work of the enemy.

God bless you.

It IS Wonderful to have a ROCK to build life on.

2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

To say that the truth is a person just makes no sense. Unless you are seriously screwing the definition of the word 'truth'.
