if you want the fish to stay fresh, clean it( fillet it ) rinse it good, get some heavy plastic bags and put water and a pich of salt, ...squeeze the air out until only water with no air remains. and put in frez, and it will taste fresh when you want it , up to 2 to 3 weeks..a must is getting all the air out of bag, i've done it 2000 times lol, and my fish always tastes like it was caught that day or the day after lol... it's all good.

First, take it out of any packaging in might be in, rinse it, and put it in a clean tupperware or similar container. It usually keep 2-3 days. Rinsing it lightly and making sure not too much water remains on it will prolong its freshness

You should always use fresh fish on the day you purchase it. You should use frozen fish on the day you thaw it. However, there's no rule that says you can't freeze it and use it another day.

I usually cook mine right away. Believe it or not fresh fish should not smell "fishy" at all. If it smells strongly when you buy it it is already aged for some time in the store...

I typically serve it the same day. Otherwise, I sprinkle it with lemon, salt & pepper, refrigerate it, and use it the next day.
