Hi Kina:
At your age, given your height and your weight, how much do you think you should weigh? Ninety pounds isn't that much, and at 12 years of age, you still have a lot of growing to do. You aren't overweight now, and getting skinny isn't going to do you much good in the future.
The only diet you should be on at present is one that covers the basic food groups -- lots of veggies, lots of fruit, lots of calcium (that's milk and milk products. You can use 1% if you want, but you're still too young to go for skim milk.Your body needs a certain amount of fat and milk is a good source) and lots of whole grain cereals. Cut down on the stuff you know isn't good for you -- candy, pop and junk food, but don't make life dreary with a 'no-fun' diet. It's okay to splurge every so often on ice cream, or pizza, as long as it isn't every day.
You sound like a pretty healthy young lady. Keep your mind on staying healthy, and unless your weight goes a w a a a a y over 90 pounds, you have nothing to worry about. And as you grow, you should add to that basic weight, so unless you are hovering in the 150 range, you don't have anything to worry about.

Your too young to diet, i have a 13yr old that is a little thick but i wont let her diet, i just do more active things with her like sports, going for walks or bike riding, right now we swim alot in our pool.

Are you stupid? Say that out loud honey and see how it sounds. When i was 12 i weighed 112 lbs and by no means was i fat. You are NO WHERE CLOSE TO FAT! And your still harboring baby fat, so imagine how much better your body will get when you get to 8th grade and start playing sports! Don't attempt to lose any weight. Your parents will rush you to the ER before they compliment you on it.

nope u r fine the way u r u dont sound overweight but if u feel a little chubby then just play outside dance run any exercise and remember u r still growing and u might have puppy fat. u are perfect the way you are.

Quit worrying about it, these questions are so annoying. You just want attention and someone to tell you you're skinny. If you really care, you would go to the doctor or look it up online, like your Body Mass Index (BMI). Jeebus.
