I don't get your question, but there are many species of swallow. Barn Swallow, Cliff Swallow, Tree Swallow, Violet-Green Swallow, ect.. Maybe if you specify the species it will help to get answers to your question. Or maybe you mean unlaiden swallow, as swallowing without anything in your mouth, I don't know.
