You can't. Gay is gay.
You move on.

You can't really "turn him straight". You can, however, keep him in a relationship where he won't be happy with the intent of "turning him back". What probably happened is that he's been living with this for his entire life and he's only now come out with it because he either trusts you enough or he feels like he's living a lie. What you can do is to support him and not be judgemental. Help him figure out who he is and how he can be happy. Chances are, pretending to be straight isn't the way to his happiness.

You don't. This is not learned behavior, and it cannot therefore
be unlearned.
However, if someone has just told his girlfriend he is homosexual,
he *MUST* be confused.
Or, I suppose, he may have decided that he really wants to piss
you off!
More likely, however, he has realized that he likes the male
form and isn't too scared to say it. It doesn't mean he is
necessarily completely homosexual - it may mean that he
is beginning to grips with a part of himself.
Are you his friend? If so, he's got a bumpy road ahead of
him - no matter whether he turns out to be homo-, hetero- or
bi-sexual. Figuring that out if you aren't completely sure
is usually a nasty experience.
If you are his friend, you'll be around for him.
If you were just lovers, you might be best off to turn tail and
run...

This is a difficult situation! Ask him if he's always known that he was gay, or if it's a recent feeling. If it's the latter, then it could just be a phase he is going through. We all go through this phase sometime in our life, it's absolutely normal. You could also ask if he's had any contact with another male, sexual, or not, because once he tries this he might perhaps change his mind. If these questions don't work, then convince him to be bi-sexual, there's nothing better than getting the best of both worlds!

Did he turn gay all of a sudden, or as an excuse, to end the relationship with you? If he's really gay at heart, you tell me; is being gay an option or is it a predetermined factor? Perhaps the relationship you have with him is not meant to be, and rather to regret and be hurt later, move on with your life!

Why even bother? There are plenty of fish in the sea so get one that isn't going to cause you unneccesary headaches. If he is gay then plant your foot on his butt as you help him out the door. Be a little more careful in the screening selection of the new and improved model.

You don't. People are born that way. The brain of a gay guy is identical to that of a woman (scientific fact). All you can do is love him and be there for him. :) Think about it... he is STILL the same guy... the only thing that has changed is that YOU now know more about him.

if he is gay..do you really WANT to turn him back straight?
But move on mommy...there are too many straight guys out there for you to worry about someone that wants to be gay.
Tell him (and his boyfriend) Peace out!

If he likes you like a girl friend then he will turn straight. Just give him a bit of time.
