This commentary made by the judge is very profound.

You guys, I know it's a lot to read but it's very important. Please read before you answer. This judge met with a would be mass murderer and if this terrorist had his way, we would all be dead.

Thanks for posting, Princess ... I hadn't read that before and am glad I did ... and to those on this board who complain it was too long to read and they have lives ... well, I see these people here regularly spouting off uninformed crap ... they love hearing their own voices, but apparently find reading difficult ... talk about ignorant sound byte culture ... maybe if they took the time to read decent posts, they may get something to contribute ... but I don't hold my breath on that one .... once again, thanks Princess.

Bitter Princess, she said AMERICANS ONLY. You are by definition disqualified.
I think that the judge in this case truly understands what America stands for, and what it means to be an American. It is sad to know that America, the greatest free country in the world, has to defend itself from radicals and criminals such as the defendant in this case.
As to the connection to immigration, This pre sentencing speech by this judge is about the Individual freedoms that Americans enjoy and will fight to defend. This portion of the judges speech rings true as far as "illegal Immigration" is concerned.
" As human beings, we reach out for justice.
You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a
soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that reference,
to
call
you a soldier, gives you far too much stature. Whether it is the
officers of
government who do it or your attorney who does it, or if you think you
are a
soldier. You are not----- you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate
with
terrorists. We do not meet with terrorists. We do not sign documents
with
terrorists. We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice."
I believe that America is at war with the hordes of "illegal Immigrants" that are daily crossing our borders. An economic war, an undeclared war, yet a war nonetheless. How much longer before a true terrorist or group of terrorists, take advantage of this situation, and who will be to blame?, Not I for I have been at odds with this situation for quite a while now. I wonder where the blame will be layed for the next deaths from an unknown enemy who crossed into America by way of an unsecured border as so many do daily. Each of these Criminal trespassers have the potential to do my country and its citizens harm. Will it take a congressmens loved one to die before American politicians get their heads out of the sand and do what is lawful and right for America?
This is a great post. Thank you Princess.

hope that never happens. I know that for some reason, whites aren't supposed to be proud of their race but they should be. I think it would be a rather dull and boring world if we didn't have anyone in it with blue eyes and blond hair.
I married a native american because of this.
Taken from at post from a hitler impersonatior. Well said.

I think he put a lot of thought into it, and I think he is right.

I think something else now that I a have been coming to this board, though.

I think foreigners from poor uneducated nations see 'America is the land of the free' as an advertisement as if we were promising to give it to everyone, rather than being grateful for what we have built and have fought to protect for our own people.

We know what a little island our bubble of freedom is, and we fight to protect it from all comers. That includes from insidious encroachment of masses we have not invited, cannot support, and who more often than not, do not share our views on civil liberties, and would not protect our own if our liberties and rights came into conflict with their wishes, as they do in this debate.

Good speech.

Hadn't heard any of that. Not once. It is a shame. That should have been front page news......What that judge said is what makes me proud to stand behind this country. America needs more people like him, and we need to elimate these terrorists. They are just that, not soldiers, but cowards.

I did read that some time ago. I give the Judge credit for stating what he did and how he did. This jerk deserved much worst .

No, I hadn't heard about it until today. Very interesting.

Reid explained that he was at war with America because we want to destroy Islam (a ludicrous claim), and Young replied that Reid hates America because he hates freedom (also kind of silly when you read what Reid actually said).

Thanks for sharing it with us.
