No, Jesus is the only way to Heaven. If someone is murdered and they are not a Christian they will go to Hell.

Dear Hardcore,

Based on what you are saying- i would say that what this Pastor said is not true (although you may want to speak to him specifically and make sure you understood what he was saying). Jesus said that no one comes to the Father except through Him. One goes to Heaven based on his/her personal decision to have a relationship with Jesus Christ or not.

i would suggest talking to this pastor. And also if he does confirm this theology- i would advise you to attend a church that is a lot more biblically sound.

Hope that helps,

Nickster

I don't know where that pastor got that. But, my bible says that unless you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. "No man comes to the father except by me". No one just gets a free pass. That pastor is sadly mistaken. And I don't blame you for what you did. You were protecting your daughter. God Bless You

Jesus will be the final judge but I don't see evidence of any free rides in the scriptures - except for those who have not achieved the age of accountability.

LOL
The one that is killed goes to heaven if he is washed clean by christ, if he does not know christ or better christ does not know him he goes to hell.

There are a lot of factors involved but the person will be treated the same as if he died of natural causes.

the pastor was wrong....if the person dies having unrepented sin, he went STRAIGHT to hell....trust me, but as long as you carry unforgiveness in you heart, should you die, you'd be facing the same fate....we are all sinners, yet God forgives us through Jesus....it is EXTREMELY difficult to even love your enemies, but we are commanded to by God....that being said, turn the whole thing over to God and He is faithful to give you the ability to forgive, but you must let Him do it for you, because as a sin-natured human, you are incapable of it, but if you have just a tiny bit of faith, you can do it. May God Bless You, sir.†

i am sorry for what happened. i hope your daughter is doing well in life. doesn't the bible say "an eye for an eye"? and who is to say that when you delivered justice that you were not ridding the earth of an evil? and would evil not go back to where it originated?
i don't feel that you will encounter that "man" in heaven. but i do think you will make it there.

They only go to heaven if they believed and accepted Jesus as dieing on the cross for their sins before they were killed .

Where did he get this one from. In Christianity, it is traditionally believed that God already elected those he likes for salvation, and nothing humans can do have any influence on it.

That is so not true. There are no free passes, God is much more reasonable and rational then we limited humans give him credit for.
