could it be its just not nice at all he is a loveley boy the dentest says its not to worry about he brushes his teath twice a day and his tounge is wight sometimes

Ask him to be sure to brush the inside of his mouth, roof of his mouth and his tongue at the same time that he brushes his teeth each time.

Get him some mouthwash too. Something minty that he likes.

The white stuff on his tongue may be a growth of fungus. It's natural, but can be brushed off with the toothbrush & kept off by brushing the tongue frequently.'

saying that his toungue turn white sometimes gives the propabilty of having mouth fungus. it isnt somthin to worry about it can go alone after the end of the puperty age changes.
brush his teeth after he eats any thing sticky like carbohydrates , sweets ....etc.

Don't most people have smelly breath in the mornings?

If his tongue is white sometimes that could mean he is not drinking enough water.

When he brushes his teeth make sure that he brushes his tongue also and I would suggest mouthwash afterwards
