Expander and Braces...?

My braces were put on my teeth about a month and a half ago and my expander was put on last week. I have this weird pain in my front two teeth.

Take note that pain relievers don't work for me.

Unfortunately, the pain will be there. It is not uncommom to have pain just after putting your braces on especially with your expander. The pain will continue for several months, but take some stonger pain medication such as 800mg ibuprofen or vicodin. Call your dentist for a prescription. Again the pain will go on for several months and it is normal depending on your pain threshold.
