Yesterday I saw a question where the person asked if anyone could help with a ghost deal. I remembered when I was working at a local mall third shift, I used to see a ghost myself. It was a little white girl with brown hair and a white dress who liked to run in front of a store at 1 am. But when I'd get close, she'd disappear. I decided it would be best to leave her alone, but I liked to watch her play, she always had so much fun. I was wondering if anyone else had seen ghosts like I and the other questioner did?

No, I don't see ghosts, but I don't take heavy drugs either. I guess that explains it.

I used to work in a theatre that had been converted from a train depot. I never SAW the ghost, however we constantly heard noises ate night, especially when we were being really noisy building sets or something. One night when my friend and I were closing up we went into the kitchen to lock the door. The door was stuck because the hinge was crooked and we were making a lot of noise trying to get the door shut and talking. Suddenly about a dozen dishes flew off the shelves in the kitchen and crashed into the wall across the room. (about 15 feet away, and I mean the wall, not slid onto the floor) I ran out of that door so fast, that I don't think my feet touched the ground until I was across the street, my friend at my heels. Needless to say we never closed up alone again. No one wanted to really believe us until one out managers was coming down the stairs and he heard someone behind him, so he turned around, and although there was no one there someone told him to , "Be quiet." Obviously our ghost hadn't liked all the noise at the train station or something. I never did find anything out about it, but it made me a believer.

I don't think I'd categorize ghosts as belonging in mythology and folklore. Orthodox Christianity (Catholic, etc.) and other world religions have long, I mean lllooonnnnggg recognized or at least tried to explain that there may be and probably is another reality with activity crossing from that world to ours, besides the physical one we reside in. Most of us know what it's like to see something strange, hear an unusual noise, or be somewhere -whether outdoors or indoors- that spooks us a little, giving us that feeling that we're "not alone," yet we can't see anything with our eyes in most cases.

I've had a few experiences like the one described and even my husband who has only one or two mystical bones in his whole body woke me up at 5 in the morning a few weeks ago because "someone was sitting on my side of the bed." He felt it, felt somewhat scared but when he turned over to look, there was no one there. I had that happen to me once (same thing...someone sat on the side of the bed) when I was young.

It is a mystery I love to explore. I worked as a chamber maid in a hotel in England and had a head-on with the hotel's supposed ghost in the back stairwell. Being a maid, I had to use the back stairs...I didn't see it as much as feel it brush by me. It felt like a shoulder bumping me and fingers touching my face and was accompanied by a faint sweet smell. I always claimed not to be afraid of ghosts but I flew like the wind down those stairs. The icing on the cake was the way it laughed as I ran.

I have seen "ghosts". More like dark shadows. I've also had an experience when something pulled hard on my arm as it was hanging off the bed- like it was trying to pull me off the bed. I believe these are demons trying to get our eyes off God. If you type "when a Christian dies, does their soul go directly up to heaven...." into the search for questions. You'll see my question on this and see some really great answers!

Yes, spirits of the departed do exist. Sometimes they are grounded purely because they do not realise they have died. Maybe this child spent many happy visits to the shopping mall and was taken suddenly. If you let me know where abouts you are I can put you in touch with ghost group who could investigate this for you if you want to find out more.

Growing up, we lived in a "haunted" house. I use the term haunted loosely because it wasn't scary or anything like out of the movies. It was a young woman with long blonde hair who always wore a white dress. She would come sit next to me or my brother at night while we slept. We both thought it was our Mother the 1st few times we saw her, but later realized it wasn't when a house guest saw her too. It was like she just wanted to watch us kids.......
