sadly all the ones i have met to date havent been worth it.
maybe he respects you (a novel notion in this day in age) so he wants to wait a little while.

The thing is Shell have you asked him what he wants??, or more importantly have you told what you would like, maybe there may be a compromise somewhere in the relationship, but i wish you good luck in whatever you decide.
