I have a blister on one of my toes, which was probably caused by a lot of walking during the past two days (touring a college campus.) I'm starting classes in a couple days, and I don't want to make it worse, but I have to walk. How can I heal/get rid of the blister?

And yeah, I wear socks.

There are many options. As a former runner, I can suggest some for you:

1. Wear sandals that allow the blister to be present to air. The more rubbing it gets, the worse it can become.

2. DON'T POP IT!!! Let it pop on its own. If you pop it, it can get infected and turn REALLY bad.

3. Let it air out alot! When you're in your home, take off your shoes and socks.

4. Keep walking. Build up some calluses on the feet to help your feet get used to that type of walking. You'll need it in college :-)

Pop it with a sterile needle, wash gently with soapy warm water, rinse well, use some neosporin or not, its up to you, then put on a steril bandage. At night remove the bandage, wash it and leave it open to the air to help dry it out. Take care of those piggies.

Pop it, then put a band-aid over it with neosporin, will take care of it. Also stuff your shoe with tissue where it is when your walking, itll feel better and will be less irritation to it........
