Remember, God is outside Time, and his salvation was retroactive.

Therefore, if I die for your sins today, God seens neither the sooner nor the later as having any importance. God is eternal.

Am I not one of God's Children? Do I not bleed? In God's eyes, aren't we all Holy Creations? What makes me any less worthy of saving mankind, if Jesus cared so much about me?

But if I ask for forgiveness and am forgiven, and accept Christ as my savior, might I just as well be perfect too... and worthy of also dying for your sins? I don't see why not...

Keep in mind that if I ask Jesus for forgiveness, in God's eyes it will be the equivalent of me never having sinned. So I don't see what the significance of my having sinned is...

Once I use Jesus to be seen as "the same as sinless" is God's eyes, why couldn't I equal Jesus?

The sacrifice was justified not only because Jesus is the Son of God but because Jesus is perfect. In the old testament Jews had to sacrifice a perfect lamb or animal to atone for sin. Jesus is the embodiment of the perfect sacrifice and a picture of the perfect lamb. Can you say that same? No, because the Bible also teaches that ALL have sinned and came short of the glory of God. What is sin? Any deed, act or thought that displeases the Lord. Lying, stealing, lustful thoughts....etc. I am sure you are guilty of something...as am I.

Secondly. the bible also tells us that if we accept the Lord Jesus Christ, we become joint heirs in heaven. Joint Heirs! We are adopted into the family of God. Legally, adoption is permament and enables the adoptee to every right and privilege of any biological family member. The same is true in heaven's court.

So, I hope now you can see why it was essential that Jesus was the sacrifice and not your third cousin on your mother's side with the bumb leg.

No it doesn't work that way.
First you have to be an angel in heaven sitting at the right hand of God who agreed to come to earth as a perfect man to die to buy back for us what Adam lost. Already been done don't need another one. Besides you are a mere mortal.
Don't have enough clout to even count.

It will be impossible for you to die for my sins. Sin is not a commodity that can be given away or sold. It is yours and yours alone, and the only way out of it is through Jesus Christ.

No, because you are not perfect to begin with as Jesus was.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

None of us can take it upon ourselves to do such a thing. That would be equating ourselves with Jesus, which is a big mistake.

Jesus did not take it upon Himself to come here and to die for our sins. He was commissioned to do this by His Father in Heaven.

You cannot die for my sins, silly. Jesus already did. There is no sin that He can't cover. Sorry, dude, you are too late.

No because you are not worthy to die for any ones sins, because you are a sinner your self.

No, Jesus had a perfect record, you probably don't. The sacrifice needed to be pure and blameless, that counts you out.

You can't. You're a sinner too and you can only atone for your own sin.
