It's definitely a coincidental thing. Your web browser doesn't effect drive transfers of any type. You could switch from IE to Firefox to Opera and not once should your camera transfer change.
how are you transferring the files? Are you plugging the camera directly into the laptop? What happens why you try to transfer the pictures... any errors? Do you normally use a specific software to connect to your camer from the USB? More details are needed.

that is correct Mozilla has nothing to do with your transfer of pictures...
connect your camera, i beleive you should then get an extra removible drive, start browsing on it.

Firefox has nothing to do with why you cannot trasfer pictures. What else did you do.
