I am a licensed funeral director and emabalmer. I head one of the busiest preparation rooms in the southwest (over 1500 cases per year). I have NEVER heard of this book. If you are interested in our field there are mortuary schools throughout the nation that could be good for you...........Worshams outside of Chicago, Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, etc. just go online and investigate

Embalming is ok - the hard bit is getting the flippin' body to stay on the mantlepiece!
