Hey Zach,
congratulations!
If you want to kind of let everyone know you--- gather all your kids in a circle. And give each of them a piece of paper where they will write their name and tape it to their back.
Then in 30 second intervals have people write their impression of that person. After everyone has had an opportunity to write on everyone's paper, have the kids go in a circle again. And each person will share what other people's impression of them are and share if they think it's accurate or not and why.
It's a great way to let people know who you are and also to get an idea of what people's first impression is of you. It's a great lesson to that we can often misjudge from the outside. Maybe even read 1 Samuel 16:7 and remind them that man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart, and share your heart for the Lord and the youth with them.
Hope that helps... feel free to email me with any questions etc. nicksterlee@yahoo.com i've been youth pastoring for 5 plus years now and teaching teens for 15 plus years so i'd love to support your ministry and help in any way...
co-laboroer for Christ,
Nickster

Little bit of advice unless you are ready for some crude, vulgar replies by immature people you most likely will be offended on this site.
Ideas...Pizza and ice breaker games followed by personal goals for the youth.

Your testimony, some interactive games where you can learn about them too. I found imitation game shows with bible questions went really well, need some prizes though. Making a movie, going to a beach, make sure it's fun.
Best wishes.

Trust in God and the Holy Spirit. They will get you through it. It may seem a little awkward at first, but if you let the Spirit lead you, which He will do, you will be all right. Don't forget to thank him in your prayers tonight.

Your Testimony is always the biggest way to get my attention, so I would have to go with that.
Jeremy Camp's testimony is awesome.
Pray for guidance from God and he will lead you.
Good for you and God Bless
