we have had enough of the uk ...but not sure where to go..
Iv lived in South Africa and love the place , but its to violent for my wife and children.... Canada looks a nice place ...any surgestion's

It all depends who will let you in these days, you might be okay with Austalia if your lucky. With all these asylum seekers coming in, we are the only country stupid enough to let any body in, cause no other countries will stand for it.

Canada would be best I think or what about New Zealand? We have lived as Uk expats out of the Uk for the last 10 years. Have also travelled worldwide but now we are seriously considering moving back home.
Why?
Because no matter where you go although the Uk has its fair share of crime, bad weather, stress of work / life balance you cant beat the compassion of the people of the Uk and its that what we miss the most

You have to prove that you are going to be employable if you want to come to Canada and that you will not be taking a job from a Canadian. In other words you must possess some sort of unique skill that is lacking in Canada. There are all kinds of other hoops to go through, go to Immigration Canada and you will see what steps you have to go through.

I loved SA too and agree about the current violence. I have a house in the Okanagan Valley in BC, Canada - it's where to be as far as I am concerned.

I have also considered emigrating to Canada. We have friends there and I can confirm that it's a great country. We're also sick of the crime and governments who care more about criminals and crooks than ordinary decent people.

Kentucky! it's a great place to raise a family if you like the country life. i have lived here all my life and i would never move anywhere else.

Chicago is nice. Its certainly not as crime ridden as the media makes it out to be. Certain parts of the city are gorgeous.
