The whole idea seems kinda tacky. "and do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband- sponsored by such and such caterer??" Hmm, nooo!

It won't be free. You might be able to get discounts from vendors if you allow them to advertise at your wedding, but it isn't guaranteed to happen. Most vendors don't need to advertise at your wedding to get business.

You won't have a free wedding unless you are Angelina Jolie. You will be lucky if you get free napkins and plastic cups.

I have heard of it and I think that its really tacky. Just go to the book store and buy a book on how to have a cheap wedding.

I agree with the other poster. It's tacky.

Have a wedding you can afford (or at least finance). Don't try to get someone to foot the bill for your party just to put their name all over it.

One of my friends got married and their local newspaper covered some of the costs if they could use pictures of them in there Wedding Special Insert. It's something to check out.

Please don't do that. That is really offensive and terrible manners. You'd essentially be "selling" your guests as an audience to advertisers. Really atrocious.
