"Jehovah's witnesses" form a religion
, who base their beliefs ,on their close interpretation of the words in the bible.
their beliefs, are so strong ,that it affects their whole way of life.
It is not an easy way to be
Even to watching a loved one die , as they do not believe in blood transfusions .
They believe if they stay within the word of God, they will all come together to a wonderful new life , when the time is right
those who do not follow their way of life, they believe will not end up in Paradise .
The Bible tells Witnesses to go out and distribute" the word ".
try to convert people, so they may come to heaven with them
( this is why they go from door to door visiting strangers )
They get reviled for this and other practises , but plod on despite the rejection of so many .
It is a hard religion to follow , sometimes splitting family groups up.
They were rounded up and died for their faith by Hitler in WW2,
I hope i have not misinterpreted ,this religious sect ,I wish them no harm .
I am not a Jehovah's witness
Note; THEY ARE NOT MORMONS :

Hey there. I lived with a Jehovah's Witness couple for a year, and I participated in their worship services and bible study. I can tell you a couple of things that people have already misinformed you about:
Jehovah's Witness are Christians. They believed Jesus Christ was God's son and the Messiah. That he died for our sins, so that we may be saved. One difference from them and other Christian groups, is that they do not believe in the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). They believe the three exist, but that they are not all ONE.
They are not Mormons. You may see them dressed up however (they try to dress modestly), and perhaps you may see them going door to door spreading the word of God.
If you wish to know more, I still have lots of material on their faith and beliefs.
Hope this helps.

Quote from Wikipedia.org:
Jehovah's Witnesses are members of an international religion who believe they are the restoration of first-century Christianity. Their preaching, evangelistic, and publishing activities are extensive, with The Watchtower and Awake! religious magazines being their most widely known publications. Headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, they are directed by a Governing Body. Each local congregation is led by a group of elders who are appointed by representatives of the Governing Body. Their official membership currently stands at over 6.6 million.

hi, Jehovah's Witnesses attend Kingdom Halls - you could look up Kingdom Halls of Jehovah's Witnesses on your community telephone itemizing. they are diverse to a lot of church homes as they are elementary homes without statues, etc. they are in actuality elementary and respectful. some human beings look to think of that our halls have no abode windows, which would be authentic in some severe crime aspects (a lot of folk do no longer look to love Witnesses and bricks could make having abode windows a secure practices danger), although, the place i'm, our hall has rather some abode windows.

Jehovah's Witnesses are a religious group. They are also called Mormons.
They have various beliefs that range from spirit worlds, that god has created limitless worlds, etc.
Also, you may see men wearing a white shirt and black pants. These are missionaries. They have given up a year of any contact with their family to travel around on a bike to spread the word of god.
None of this is meant to sound mean, this is what i see of mormons locally in my area. Also, i dated a guy for three years, and his parents were Mormon.
