I think I liked last years show better. I liked the weekly competitions between the teams to see which team would choose the fight. Stallone didn't add much and I don't miss him this year. One thing I like about this season is seeing Sergio Mora, Peter Manfreddo, Jr. & Alphonso Gomez at the fights, and seeing Gomez training with the new guys.
From what I've seen thus far I think Walter Wright has the best pure boxing skills, but I haven't seen Forbes fight yet. I think I'm sort of pulling for K9, Grady & Norberto... they're a little older and seem like good family men.

Ms. Karinas mom ~
In my opinion the Contender is flat this year without "Sly" granted he knew very little about the fundamentals of boxing other than being an actor who plays the roll of a fighter "Rocky", Ray is so boring to watch and it's agonizing to hear him try to sound inspirational. Tommy Gallagher and Jeremy Williams (The trainers) do a fine job with the boxers since they both come from professional boxing backgrounds. The fighters are good fighters, some better than others but over all it is entertaining since the format is more about actual fighting than the sob stories the fighters bring. It's to early to pick a clear cut winner.

I like it better without Stallone, since he doesn't know much about boxing. He just played one in a movie. I like this season better because it's more focused on boxing. Who deserves to win???
I think it's a bit early to tell since all the boxers haven't fought yet. But so far, I like Gary Balletto.

I love it this year! It is actually still produced by Stallone though! I wonder if he will be back on at the end after his details with "Rocky Balboa" is done. He is kind of a big dummy to me though. I like Ray Leonard he does well with the show.
My vote is on Steve Forbes though. I believe he fights next week, and all the world will see his brilliance!

It is my first time watching it this year and I am drawn to it every week. I believe K-9 defeated Micheal Clark, although it was a very good fight. Last night two nice guys fought, but in the 4th round the niceness went out of the window and the guy from Newnan, Georgia got knocked out, it was unexpected. The 2nd round of fights should come in the next week and it should be interesting, I am looking forward to watching K-9 fight Walter Wright, who is a very skilled boxer, but needs more power. That fight will come to power against skill. It will be interesting to watch. As far as Sylvester Stallone, I did not watch last season and I don’t see what can contribute to the show other than his influence and his name, which is mentioned in the credits. Sugar Ray Leonard is doing a good job, as well as the trainers, it’s the boxers drama, each one calling each other out that makes the show, not Sugar Ray and also the appearances of experience boxers like Sugar Shane Mosley, but most of the show is focused on the boxers themselves. They make the show interesting to me.

i think that last year's caliber of fighter's was slightly higher...but this year's crop has more to prove (hence, all the the trash talk and posturing) this may lead to better fights (there have been some dandies)....we'll have to wait and see
