What opinions do you have about the governments new criteria concerning the Blue Badge Scheme ,

Although autism is not typically linked with physical disability, it is possible for some people with the condition to fulfil the criteria for a blue badge because they experience considerable difficulty in walking.

It should be decided on a case-by-case basis.

I think it depends on your local authority as to if you are entitled to the Blue Badge for your car.

I imagine if you qualify for the orange badge it shouldn't be a problem.

In the US, the doctor is the one who writes the prescription to get the badge. Probably the same in Europe. Check with your doctor.

right now i do not concern myself with government help since we get almost nothing. We have alot of wonderful teachers for speach fine moder skills and so on. Our child is doing so well and we can not say enough good things about neenah,s schools
