I am trying to find colors that go well together that are very vibrant. My fiance loves orange as do I, but I can't figure out what colors go well with orange as far as dresses and flowers go! Any suggestions would be great!

I love orange too and I am getting married this december. I have chosen orange with silver, because it will be during the winter season. If I was getting married during the summer, it would definitely be orange with yellow (i love gerberas, so that would have been flower of choice). Ivory dress, orange and yellow bouquet, you could have some sunflowers around too. And a nice flower in your hair. these are the colors of the sun. I always (well almost always) pick my colors and combinations with what nature has on display naturally (sunset, flowers, birds).
If your wedding will be outdoors, orange and yellow will be gorgeous.
Congratulations :)

I'm using orange for my august 2007 wedding as well. I wanted to use purple with the orange, I thought that would be a really nice contrast. I would have the bridesmaids and the grooms wear purple with orange flowers. But I am just doing orange and white now. Good luck!....email me if you want to talk about orange stuff, lol.

Navy bridemaids dresses go great with orange flowers - I would suggest a navy dress that has a white thin tie around the waist - it will pull the color from your white dress, then mix in white flowers to go with the orange and tone them down a bit.

While I'm not a fan of the color orange I would say yellow goes great with it and also maybe some light blue to tone it down a little. Good Luck to you!

my wife and I just got married this July and had orange and a light blue as the 2 primary colors and then a dark pink as the secondary color. It worked out great and people actually commented that they really liked the colors.

I am getting married in June of 2007 too and I am having honeydew (light green) dresses and the girls are carrying orange lillies. So I say you go with green!! Good Luck!

There are orangish dresses, like tangerine and apricot. And orange flowers too, like mini carnations and orange roses. Your florist can work with just about any color, don't worry about that unless you're really, really in love with a particular flower.

our may 07 wedding is going to be orange and blue (popular it seems). my fiance's fav color is orange as well (my 2nd fav) and we're huge broncos fans..... ;)
for now the ladies are wearing orange and the guys will have blue accents (so the tuxes don't look all halloween). my flowers are orange but that's all I've decided.
good luck!

Tropical colors work really well together. If I were you, I'd go to a fabric store and find a tropical print that appeals to you and utilize the different colors in the print. Your wedding already sounds like it will be unique and lovely - have fun with the planning!
