One packet is enough, but add it a bit at a time and season to taste. Check the taste as you put more in.

If you are using a pound or less of the meat source, this gravy and beef stew sauce should work fine. Taste the final stroganoff. If it's weak tasting, add a bit or Worchestershire sauce or soy sauce. You can add some more garlic powder, too and a pinch of dill weed for that authentic Russian flavor!

For beef stroganoff? For three people, you've definitely got enough depending on how much they eat. Good luck!

brown gravy? Why would you be using brown gravy? Fry onions, then beef, then add paprika, then a glass of sherry and sour cream.

MC CORMICKS SEASONINGS MAKES A STROGANOFF SAUCE MIX THAT IS VERY VERY GOOD AND EASY TO MAKE. IT USES WATER AND SOUR CREAM. I SERVE IT OVER RICE BUT ALOT OF PEOPLE LIKE IT OVER EGG NOODLES.
