Advise 101. Need to cut down on the big words and concentrate on the smaller ones to get your point across. Here is your question rephrased "What are some reasons why a guy would only want to talk to me at night instead of the daytime?" Just because you're smart, doesn't always mean you have to show it. ;) And I would stop talking to him. He's probably cheating on you or is embarrased of you. If a guy "maintains communication" only at night, he's not worth your time. You can find someone better to suit you that will respect you for who you are and treat you like you should be treated. jeez, the grammer police. could be any of a number of reasons, but i hope it's not like a personal stalker trying to establish communication in the very late or early am hours.

his work hours limit his free time? I don't know I don't honestly think there are plausible reasons why he wouldn't contact you at other times of day. Sounds fishy to me.
