Three hours ahead. Pacific Standard Time vs. Eastern Standard Time i.e. if it is 1:00 PM in San Diego it is 4:00 PM in New York City

The first answer that appears is by Heather, this is the correct answer. There are 5 time zones in the US, New york is in the second time zone. From East to west there is a 5 hour difference in time. so there would be 4 hours difference between New York and San Diego California.

It says it is 11:20 in California and it is 2:20 right now here in New York and that is THREE HOURS.
